This means that only college students and alumni can sign up for this service, unlike other so-called 'college dating sites' that allow anyone to join.
By requiring a .edu email address, StudentLove provides its users with a safer enviroment in which they can be assured that they are interacting with
real college students and alumni. Once users have verified their .edu email address, they may change their settings to use any other email
address they prefer. However, for safety reasons, StudentLove keeps a record of the original .edu email address that was used during registration.
